A Feed With No Language Borders
Tratok’s social feed now translates posts, captions, comments and reviews into your language. Ten thousand travellers across 140+ countries, and for the first time on any travel platform, you can read them all.
Every social network has the same invisible wall. The feed shows you the whole world, then quietly filters it down to the sliver that writes in your language. The perfect sunset caption from a traveller in Osaka, the honest review from a guest in São Paulo, the tip that would have saved your Istanbul dinner: all posted, all public, all unreadable. Social platforms did not connect the world. They connected its language zones and called it a day.
Tratok tore the wall down. The feed now reads in your language, whoever wrote it.
The mechanics are elegantly simple on the surface. A post, a caption, a comment or a listing review written in any language arrives with translation built in: tap and read it in yours, with the original a tap away out of respect for the author’s own words. Underneath sits proper engineering: each piece of content is translated once per language and then remembered, so the feed stays fast and the translation stays consistent for every reader who follows you to it.
What the wall was hiding
The reviews are the quiet revolution here. Review scores were always readable; review substance never was. Now the German guest’s detailed account of the airport transfer, the Japanese traveller’s note about the quiet rooms, the Emirati family’s verdict on the kids’ pool: all of it informs your booking, regardless of who wrote it in what. More readable reviews means better decisions, and better decisions mean better trips. No other travel platform offers this depth of translated social proof.
The old feed vs the borderless one
Combine this with the rest of the social fabric and the picture completes itself: profiles and friendships across borders, the “friend lives here” signal in your searches, host chat translated both ways, and now a feed where the whole community speaks to the whole community. Travel is the most international thing humans do. Its social network finally is too.
Ten thousand travellers, one conversation. That has never existed before. It does now.
Questions travellers ask
Do I have to do anything to see translations?
Just tap Translate where you see it: on posts in the feed and on reviews on listing pages. Your language preference does the rest.
Can I still read the original?
Always. The original is never replaced, only accompanied. Authors keep their voice; readers gain access to it.
Where is the feed?
Feed, in the bottom bar at tratok.net: What’s Happening for the world, My Wall for your own story. Both now borderless.
