Mid-Month Community Update From Carol
Dear Tratokians,
At Tratok, we appreciate our community. We know it is currently small, but that is fine, we don’t need to have pretend of have 50 million users before we even start full operations. Indeed, the team conduct regular bot cleansing on the Tratok ecosystem to protect users, save resources and have a better and more honest understand of our situation.
As we continue to grow and innovate, ensuring that our ecosystem remains fair, transparent, and vibrant is a top priority. Over the past few weeks, as promised in a previous update, I’ve dedicated significant time to reviewing our promotion program and scrutinizing thousands of accounts to uphold the integrity that defines Tratok. Today, I want to share the steps I’ve taken, the challenges faced, and my unwavering commitment to serving the best interests of the community.
Addressing Abuse in the Promotion Program
One thing has become abundantly clear from analyzing Telegram numbers and Twitter engagement: there has been rampant abuse within our promotion program. Anyone can see this from the public stats that these thousands of people “participating” in a promotion program are simply not real. Its not just engagement that shows this but also the headline number of people following or in channels. The number of people cannot be 15 times greater than the total people in the actual channel. For just one example, Tratok on CMC currently has 247 followers. You can all see this publicly, yet close to 6,000 people have claimed to have completed the task. This was due to spam accounts and bots which resulted in CMC deleting many of the annoucments Tratok released over the last few months.
Such robotic or throw away accounts are of no interest to Tratok. Not only does it undermine the hard work of our dedicated team and dirty our social profiles, but they also cheapen the efforts of every Tratokian who gives their time into promoting our shared vision. Honest contributors deserve recognition, and we cannot allow malicious actors to dilute their achievements.
Reviewing thousands of accounts was no small feat. I manually filtered them based on device fingerprints, the existence and activity of social media accounts, and other indicators of authenticity. This meticulous process was time-consuming but necessary to ensure fairness. At Tratok, we believe in rewarding those who genuinely engage with our community and those who helped us get to where we are today. There is no room for those who simply want to try to abuse a system and exploit loopholes or use inauthentic tactics. Unfortunately, this is still a huge problem in the industry where fraud is still rampant in 2025 and rug pulls continue to happen. There is a lot more accountability and maturity that needs to be enforced in the space and the sooner the better.
Strengthening Our Small but Mighty Community
This review also presented an opportunity to strengthen our community. With the help of our dedicated community moderators, we will be removing deleted and those that haven’t been active in months from our social media channels. This cleanup keeps our Telegram channels and other platforms neat, organized, and safer for all users. A tidy community is a thriving one, and we’re committed to maintaining an environment where every voice can be heard.
Let’s take motivation from the fact that our community, though small, is mighty. Unlike many others, Tratok was privately funded, built from the ground up with passion and perseverance. Despite facing global challenges like pandemics, we’ve established a robust corporate structure, developed a cutting-edge platform, forged strategic partnerships, and have just begun announcing candidates for our 4th generation ecosystem. Think about it: if we’ve achieved so much while still relatively unknown, imagine what we’re capable of as we grow! Our tight-knit community is a strength, and together, we’re poised to make waves in the industry.
Finalizing Rewards and Deploying Escrow Smart Contracts
To further demonstrate my commitment to fairness, I’m pleased to announce that I have finalized all rewards for the promotion program. Users may log into the platform, complete one last verification challenge and await their rewards. These steps will provide clarity and peace of mind for our contributors, reinforcing Tratok’s dedication to rewarding genuine efforts in a timely and trustworthy manner.
Note: There is no time limit on when to claim rewards. For the purpose of efficiency I will arrange for rewards to be distributed once a week in batches and have a community volunteer post the blockchain transaction every time this is done.
Addressing False Positives and Extenuating Circumstances
I’m also aware that I am not perfect. Despite my best efforts, there can be false positives—accounts flagged or removed in error. Please know that I am prepared to address genuine mistakes. If you believe your account was affected unfairly, reach out, and I will help get it resolved promptly. Additionally, removed accounts are not on a ban list. For those who haven’t been online in months due to extenuating circumstances, you’re welcome to rejoin at any time. Our doors are always open to genuine requests.
As for bot or throwaway accounts, we’ve taken a firm stance. These accounts have no place in our community, and we’re better off without them. By filtering them out, we’re creating a stronger, more authentic space for everyone.
Also please note, I spent a lot of time on this and will not have patience for games. I have documented everything. People following on a specific social media channel after this post and claiming it was a mistake on our part will not be entertained. They will also be disqualified from all aspects of the promotion program. Don’t be greedy, be honest!
The Spirit of Tratok
At the core of this effort is the spirit of Tratok: fairness, transparency, and respect for our community. We refuse to punish the honest for the actions of a few. Instead, we’re doubling down on our commitment to reward those who contribute meaningfully. This cleanup is not just about removing bad actors; it’s about celebrating the Tratokians who make our community special. We are on the threshold of making a difference that everyone will stand up and take note of and the benefits of this should go to Tratokians not bot masters.
