Public Poll: Tratok Token Swap Upgrade To Commence

The world of cryptocurrency is constantly evolving due to technological, security and community innovations. As such today we announce the upcoming Tratok token swap. • Unlocking Locked Accounts: One of the most significant advantages of the Tratok token swap is the ability for users with wrongly locked accounts to finally swap their tokens. This means that those who have been unable to engage in trading or upcoming travel can now fully participate in the vibrant Tratok ecosystem.
• Cheaper Gas Fees & Enhanced Security: In addition to unlocking accounts, the swap will also usher in cheaper gas fees. This means you’ll be able to execute transactions without worrying about exorbitant costs. Coupled with added security improvements, users can trade and transfer confidently knowing that their assets are safe.

Greater Accountability:

Transparency and accountability are cornerstones of the Tratok ecosystem. As part of the swap, the former lock and confiscate wallet functions were completely decommissioned. Although previously rescinded with contract ownership, these functions no longer will be present within our ecosystem. Furthermore, Management, Advisor, and Developer wallets are now fully locked for two years until June 24, 2026. This commitment can be publicly verified on the blockchain, showcasing our dedication to responsible management and accountability to our community. There is a reason why this is very important.

Through diligent efforts from Bitmart, who clearly value their users, it has brought to the Team’s attention that one member of Tratok has been acting in a nefarious way, taking advantage of the control mechanisms that were burned in the spirit of giving the public peace of mind. With knowledge that Tratok had provided liquidity to the exchange to power the pending pilot tests, he loaded the exchange with tokens and proceeded to sell at an extreme level. The culprit has tried to hide their activity via transfers to multiple wallets, but through a third party analyst these have been identified. Over the last 3 weeks, they were able to withdraw circa $40,000 USD from the exchange liquidity. Thankfully, we have confirmed that of this amount, in excess of $37,000 was from company reserves and will NOT impact operations or cause delays. We are happy to have caught this early, because as you can see from just a few of the wallets which we will expose below, they were gearing up to also target the public:

Vi anser att att dölja det skulle vara oetiskt men också ett svek mot förtroendet hos de tusentals personer som innehar tokens och har konton i ekosystemet. Det är med uppriktighet som vi kan informera er om att anställda har tagits bort från tjänst och kommer att åtalas för bedrägeri.

Observera att Bitmart, på begäran av Tratok, har tillfälligt suspenderat verksamheten, eftersom vi anser att det är i allmänhetens bästa intresse tills swap:en stöds. Men om allmänheten önskar att handeln återupptas innan swap:en har vi inkluderat en omröstning nedan och kommer att följa resultatet. Observera dock; Tratok kommer inte att återställa den tidigare prisfallet som orsakades av denna oärliga aktör och inte tillhandahålla likviditet förrän efter att swap:en är slutförd. Därför kommer denna oärliga före detta anställda sannolikt att rikta in sig på allmänheten under denna tid.

• Soliditetsversionsuppdatering: Vi har uppdaterat vår pragma till `solidity ^0.8.0` från `^0.4.4`, vilket gör att vi kan använda de senaste funktionerna och säkerhetsförbättringarna som kommer med den nyare versionen.
• Förbättrad felhantering: Genom att ersätta `assert` med `require` har vi förbättrat felhanteringen. Detta ger informativa felmeddelanden till användare, vilket gör det enklare att förstå vad som gick fel om det någonsin skulle uppstå ett problem under transaktioner.
• Synlighetsspecifierare: Vi har lagt till externa, view och pure-specifierare till våra funktioner. Detta klargör inte bara hur funktioner kan nås utan förbättrar också effektiviteten, i linje med bästa praxis inom utveckling av smarta kontrakt.
• Uppdaterad konstruktorsyntax: Konstruktorsyntaxen har moderniserats till den nyare stilen, vilket säkerställer att vårt kontrakt följer moderna konventioner.
• Ta emot-funktion: En ny `receive()`-funktion har lagts till för att hantera Ether som skickas till kontraktet, vilket reverserar eventuella direkta betalningar. Detta avgörande tillägg förhindrar felaktiga tokenöverföringar och skyddar användare från potentiella fel.
• Gaseffektivitet förbättrad med Calldata: Vi använder `calldata` för funktionsparametrar som inte modifieras, vilket är mer gaseffektivt. Detta innebär lägre transaktionskostnader för våra användare!
• Bästa praxis: Användningen av `emit`-nyckelordet för att skicka händelser är nu standardiserad i våra kontrakt, i linje med rekommenderade metoder i nyare Solidity-versioner.
