You’ll Think It’s a Sick Joke. Then You’ll Realise It’s Real.

You wouldn’t read another article about hidden fees and giant commissions. Honestly, neither would we. So we built a game instead.

First, you’ll laugh.

Then it feels like a sick joke.

Then you realise it’s real.

The part that isn’t funny

Travel and tourism is one of the biggest engines on the planet. Just look at the size of it.

$11.6 trillion
added to the world economy in 2025. Almost a tenth of global GDP.
366 million
jobs. Roughly one in every nine on earth.
1 in 3
new jobs created worldwide in 2025 came from travel and tourism.

That’s hotel owners and housekeepers, chefs and guides, drivers and dive schools, and whole towns that live off the visitors who come.

And sitting in the middle of all of it is a small group of booking giants, taking 15 to 30% of room after room, night after night. Pay them more and your hotel gets seen. Pay them less and it sinks down the page.

Put that arrangement in a mafia film and nobody would blink. Put it at the heart of an $11.6 trillion industry and somehow the whole world just pays up.

That’s the real sick joke.

Tratok is how the joke ends

✓Minor commission
✓Every fee shown upfront
✓Reviews only from real bookings
✓Guests and hosts talk directly

The money stays with the people who actually make travel happen. Fix that in an industry this size and you don’t just fix hotel booking. You change the world.

Play first. Read later, or never. We get it.

Lucifare and everyone in OVERBOOKED are fictional. It’s satire, and no real company is depicted.
