Plug In Once, Sell Everywhere: Tratok Now Speaks Every Hotel’s Language

For Hospitality Providers

Plug In Once.Sell Everywhere.Tratok now speaks every hotel’s language.

Hotels, tour operators and restaurants no longer have to retype rates and availability into Tratok. As of 15 October, their own systems connect straight in, and every booking flows straight back.

Community Manager, Tratok
Connectivity is live
JSON API v2, OpenTravel XML and OCTO, with a full sandbox.
Free to connect. Tratok collects the guest’s payment and pays you your share.

Three ways in, whatever you already run

JSON API v2
For hotels, activities and restaurants: rates, availability, stay rules, time slots, seatings, a bookings feed and settlement.
OpenTravel XML
For hotel channel managers that already send OTA 2003B messages to other channels. Same keys, same sandbox.
OCTO for tours
Tratok connects to your tour reservation system. Nothing to build: enter your OCTO address and key in the portal.

What stays in sync

✓Rates and availability, room by room
✓Minimum and maximum stays and other stay rules
✓Time slots for tours, seatings for restaurants
✓Every booking, change and cancellation, in order
✓What you are owed: gross, commission and net

Change a price in your own system and Tratok guests see it. A guest books on Tratok and your system knows. No double bookings, no copying by hand.

Safe by design

Every provider starts in a sandbox, with test keys that touch nothing guests can see. A checklist ticks itself as your system proves each step. When it is complete, you ask to go live and Tratok reviews the results, usually within two working days.

✓Keys are shown once and stored only as a fingerprint
✓Up to 10 keys, each revocable instantly
✓Safe retries: a repeated request never books twice
✓A bookings feed that never skips a change

Going live in four steps

1
Create a sandbox key
On the portal’s Connectivity page. Test keys start with tk_test_.
2
Pass the checklist
It ticks itself from what your system does in the sandbox.
3
Ask to go live
Tratok reviews the results, usually within two working days.
4
Create a live key
Your rates reach guests and real bookings reach your system.

Connectivity: quick answers

Does my existing API v1 integration still work?

Yes. API v1 keeps working. New integrations should use v2, which adds the sandbox, safe retries, the bookings feed and every vertical.

Who takes the guest’s payment?

Tratok collects it and pays you your share. Every booking carries the gross price, Tratok’s minor commission and the net payable to you.

Do I need a developer for OCTO?

No. If your tour system supports OCTO, you enter its address and key in the portal and Tratok does the rest.
